Thankful for Life

November. Thanksgiving. It’s getting to be that wonderful time of year when everyone focuses on family and food, and I am no exception. Every year when Thanksgiving rolls around, everyone always wants to talk about what they’re thankful for. Be it family, friends, a good job, a nice home, the answers are always pretty much the same. Every year my answer is the same, too. I’m thankful to be alive. I’m thankful that cancer didn’t kick my ass 10 years ago like they told me it would. I don’t think this will ever change for me, and it’s the reason that I try to live my life to the fullest extent every day. When you think about what you’re thankful for, remember those who can’t say that they have good health. Be thankful for every day that you draw breath, and never forget those who no longer can!
